Our exclusive Pixel Expeditions charter of Solomons Master takes you straight to the highlights of the Solomon Islands. Over 10 nights, we will explore the iconic dive sites of the Russell Islands and Florida Islands, then head west into the incredible Marovo Lagoon and Mbulo Island. With up to 30 dives on offer, including atmospheric night dives, you will have more than enough time underwater to fill your memory cards.
But it’s not just about diving. This trip is for photographers, by photographers. Between dives, we’ll run workshops, share practical shooting tips, and offer one-on-one guidance to help you capture the magic of the Solomons, whether that’s wide-angle wrecks, reefscapes, or critter close-ups.
We’ll also make time to connect with the islands above water. Expect at least one visit to a local village, where you can meet families, learn about island life, and be greeted by children who are always excited to see us. Guests are welcome to bring along school supplies or other small items to support the community—we’ll make sure they get into the right hands.
What a Diving Day Looks Like
A typical day offers up to 4 dives (3 during the day, plus a sunset or night dive when conditions allow):
Light breakfast → briefing → Dive 1
Full breakfast → relaxation → briefing → Dive 2
Lunch → relaxation → briefing → Dive 3
Afternoon snack → relaxation → briefing → Dive 4
Dinner & downtime (and maybe a few Lightroom tips over dessert!)
On days we visit villages, we’ll usually fit in 3 dives to allow time for both underwater and topside adventures.
Your Liveaboard in the Solomons
Our home for this adventure, the steel-hulled Solomons Master, features eight comfortable en-suite cabins, all with individual air-conditioning, accommodating up to 16 guests. You can choose from classic, premium, or superior cabins depending on your preference.
The spacious dive deck makes gearing up easy, with personal set-up stations, under-bench storage, and a wide dive platform with ladders for smooth entries and exits. The boat caters to recreational, technical, and rebreather divers alike.
On the main deck, you’ll find the dining area plus a dedicated camera station with plenty of charging points and storage. Evenings are for unwinding so you can relax in the lounge and bar (complete with plasma screen for photo sharing), or head outside to the shaded seating area or sundeck to soak up the views with a drink in hand.
