Your Playa del Carmen Day Trip with Pixel Expeditions
At Pixel Expeditions, we believe diving in Playa del Carmen should feel personal, easy, and unforgettable. That’s why we keep trips small and relaxed, with never more than four divers per guide, so you enjoy individual attention, unhurried time underwater, and a lighter footprint on the reefs.
Your day begins with a convenient pick-up in Playa del Carmen. Step straight onto our boat, bypassing the hassle of taxis and group tours.
Your guide will brief you on the day’s dive sites, currents, and marine life. Trips include two dives: during bull shark season, one at the bull shark site and another on a reef; outside of shark season, two reef dives tailored to the day’s conditions and your experience level.
While Playa del Carmen’s reefs are not part of an official marine reserve, they form part of the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef and support abundant marine life. Divers and snorkelers often encounter nurse sharks, eagle rays, sea turtles, and schools of tropical fish.
We dive responsibly, keeping groups small, using low-impact techniques, and reducing single-use plastics wherever possible. For us, it’s simple: we care for the ocean because it gives us everything we love.
Every dive in Playa del Carmen brings something different. Drift over vibrant coral reefs, explore deeper sites where bull sharks gather, or visit the wreck of the Mama Viña. From seasoned divers to those new to Caribbean waters, Playa del Carmen promises an unforgettable underwater adventure.
